Our divisions

European Poultry

European Poultry is made up of six sites in Holland and one in Poland

It produces fresh and frozen poultry and supplies to industry, manufacturers and retailers.

At present, the division is a major exporter to the UK following the acquisition of Storteboom in 2010. 

We are increasingly starting to focus our European strategy around retailers as we seek to build our supply position with the major European supermarkets.

Brink

Akkerweg 3, 3899 BL Zeewolde

Storteboom Brink BV, Zeewolde is a retail production site. The site capacity is 450 tonnes of poultry per week.

The customer base is retail and quick service restaurants (QSR) and customers include Jumbo, C1000 and KFC.

Products produced here are all marinated or further processed products and retail packaging. 

Sprundel

Korte Hei 8, 4714 RD Sprundel

Storteboom Sprundel is a retail production site. The facility has capacity for 200 tonnes of product per week which include marinated and processed poultry and retail packs.

Sprundel’s produces products for Aldi.

Nijkerk 26

Galvanistraat 26, 3861 NJ Nijkerk

Storteboom Nijkerk BV (nr 26) is a processing production site. The site has the capacity for processing 350 tonnes of fillet products per week. Our customer base is food service, wholesale and retail with customers including Musgrave and 3663

  • Fresh fillets for foodservice and MAP (modified atmosphere packaging) packaging

 

Putten

Voorthuizerstraat 148, 3881 SL Putten

Storteboom Fresh, Putten is one of our Dutch slaughterhouses. The site has the capacity for 900,000 chickens per week. Our products include raw bone-in products as well as whole chicken, both fresh and frozen.

The site's customer base is predominantly food service industry and retail with customers including: Rewe, Rasting and Mora.

Kornhorn

Provincialeweg 70, 9864 PG Kornhorn

Storteboom Kornhorn is part of the primary division, processing 1.3 million chickens per week. The site processes a range of fresh and frozen calibrated poultry items.
Customers include: Osi, Polskamp and Nestle Purina.

  • Raw bone-in products
  • Whole chicken, both fresh and frozen

Nijkerk 2

Galvanistraat 2, 3861 NJ Nijkerk

Storteboom Nijkerk BV (nr 2) is a processing production site. The site has a capacity for 500 tonnes of fillet products per week. The customer base is Industry and QSR with Customers including Moy Park and Hard Rock Cafe. 

  • Fresh and frozen fillets and fillet products (diced and cubed) which are tailor made with DSI and TSM (template slicing machine) equipment. DSI equipment uses computer operated water jets to cut chicken 

Hamrol (Poland)

Storteboom Hamrol is a slaughterhouse and production site in Poland. The site has the capacity to process 700,000 chickens per week.

Our customer base is Industry, food service and retail and customers include Tesco CZ and Metro.

Products produced here are a full range of fresh and frozen poultry lines and fillets.
